This sweatshirt was purchased at the SVC bookstore, which was located in the basement of the Everett Mansion. For such a small college, the SVC bookstore had a decent selection of clothing.

Traditionally styled with smart 'Southern Vermont College' lettering, the sweatshirt is a fitting tribute to the school's mountainside location. While the quality garment has withstood the test of time, it was relatively pricey when originally purchased. 

The SVC bookstore was known for its costly merchandise until Priscilla K. took the reins as manager. During Priscilla's tenure, prices were lowered in order to make SVC branded products more affordable for students.
