SVC Logo Lanyard Convenient for Student ID, Dorm Keys, Beer Bottle Opener?

Southern Vermont College lanyard
SVC logo lanyards were a must on campus.
Hopefully Edward Everett would have been proud to see Southern Vermont College students wearing SVC logo lanyards with beer bottle openers attached - he was in the bottle manufacturing business, after all.

SVC logo lanyards were common on the Bennington mountainside campus, helping students keep track of their student ID, dorm keys, car keys, and other ancillary items such as a pen, hand sanitizer, glasses, or even a whistle.

Vintage Southern Vermont College (Bennington) Classic Sweatshirt - Still Looks Great After All These Years!

Traditional Southern Vermont College sweatshirt with green lettering

This sweatshirt was purchased at the SVC bookstore, which was located in the basement of the Everett Mansion. For such a small college, the SVC bookstore had a decent selection of clothing.

Traditionally styled with smart 'Southern Vermont College' lettering, the sweatshirt is a fitting tribute to the school's mountainside location. While the quality garment has withstood the test of time, it was relatively pricey when originally purchased.

Remembering SVC with Each Spot of Tea! (Office of Residential Life, Southern Vermont College)

Office of Residential Life mug, Southern Vermont College
Office of Residential Life mug, Southern Vermont College.
This vintage SVC mug dates back to the 1998-1999 academic year. SVC Resident Directors had a busy job and most likely drank lots of coffee to keep them going, amongst other beverages.

The SVC Resident Director had an office on the first floor of Aldis Hall, which also housed the Director of Security, Director of Student Life, and Counseling Services. The SVC switchboard was also behind a desk in the lobby of Aldis Hall. Professionally staffed during the day but manned by work-study students on evenings and weekends, switchboard shifts were regarded as a prized assignment.
